Title Grocery Shopper – Part-time Position
Location Administrative Office/Residential Care Facilities
Job Information
  • Responsible for all grocery purchasing for each of the 18 local homes.
  • Maintaining a spreadsheet to account for all purchases, including inventory.
  • Separating and delivering food to each of the homes.
  • Use bulk buying techniques and sales/coupons to purchase the groceries and household supplies for Salem Christian Homes.
Qualifications
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Be able to legally work in the United States;
  • Excellent computer skills – MS Office (Excel in particular).
  • Be 18 years of age; must meet the qualifications of a driver as established by our insurance carrier, Department of Motor Vehicles and Salem policy;
  • Be able to pass a background check and receive a fingerprint clearance from the Department of Community Care Licensing and Department of Health Services
  • Be able to provide verifiable non-family references including 1 previous employer.
  • Be able to pass a Physical/TB/PAT/Drug Screen

 

Title Direct Care Staff Positions (DCS/DSP)
Location  Intermediate Care Facilities
Job Information Staff duties include dressing, bathing, hygiene, cooking, housekeeping, community activities, medical appointments, administering medication and treatments, active treatment following therapist orders, completing daily documentation and participating in (Interdisciplinary) ID team meetings. Minimum staff requirements include High school education or equivalent, orientation and 36 in-service hours per year.  Additional training may be required.

  • Be able to legally work in the United States;
  • Be 18 years of age; must meet the qualifications of a driver as established by our insurance carrier, Department of Motor Vehicles and Salem policy;
  • Have a high school diploma or GED, preferably
