Alan Bos – Director of Finance
Alan Bos, Director of Finance, has been with Salem since July 2000 serving as the Director of Finance. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dordt College and a Master of Business Administration degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
His primary responsibility is to direct all fiscal and accounting operations of Salem Christian Homes, Inc. to maintain fiscal integrity and fiduciary trust. His responsibilities include developing, maintaining and managing all fiscal accounting functions and system controls necessary for developing financial reports and data for review by both internal management (directors and board members) and external agencies (state and federal government, banking institutions and individual contributor foundations, & organizations). He also serves as the IT administrator developing and maintaining communication and computer network systems (for the main administration office and 19 facility locations). Alan enjoys working with the Salem residents, staff, and supporting community to honor and glorify God as a result of the saving work of Jesus Christ.
Alan’s interests outside of his work at Salem is spending time with his wife and daughter traveling, camping, hiking, skiing, surfing and visiting friends, extended family, church family, historical sites or museums.
